Stimulus funds boost number of federal jobs

Large Dogs in Public Housing Are Now Endangered Species

It seems to me that we are moving towards a socialized union and moving away from being a global leader of soverignty. The US Dollar is losing clout, but that’s nothing new. We are losing so much faith in our economy and president that people are buying arms(guns) and bullets left and right, because they fear President Obama will severly restrict gun laws. What happened to the Second Amendment, the bill that protects a right to keep and bear arms from infringement by the federal government, including federal enclaves and Washington, D.C.

Taking our guns leaves us defenseless. Taking our dogs, which is the equivalent to a gun to many people in terms of self defense and protection of property, is essentially leaving many of us defenseless. Why on Earth would our Government choose to leave the citizens of this country defenseless when we are in the midst of multiple wars and while we are basically not on ANYONE’s good side in terms of global relations? If we sell all of our debt to China and Russia, what will stop them from invading? What would we do to protect ourselves if we NO global buying power, which means we can’t buy anything because no one will take our dollars and most of us are too stupid to invest in other currencies/commodities, no self dense measures because the government wants our guns and dogs?

I guess they’re setting us up to depend even MORE so on the government, which would explain why they expanded their government by 25,000 workers, using TAXPAYER bailout money! The same bailout money that indebted us even FURTHER is going towards expanding our own Government, a Government that can be targeted for blame by many educated economists and speculators. Now this Government, one which we essentially paid for using our soverignty, is trying to restrict our rights, rights which were established for us by those who established this country? What will happen when these Government employees run out of jobs and tasks? Will we lay them off and induce unemployment rates to increase, or will we continue to employ them using meaningless things such as the War of Drugs? Has anyone considered the affect on taxes to pay the cost of increasing our Government by 25,000 workers? This is like giving a booster shot to cancer.

Something doesn’t seem right. Something just isn’t adding up.

Ten Things You’re Not Supposed to Know about the Swine Flu Vaccine

Let’s not beat around the bush on this issue: The swine flu vaccines now being prepared for mass injection into infants, children, teens and adults have never been tested and won’t be tested before the injections begin. In Europe, where flu vaccines are typically tested on hundreds (or thousands) of people before being unleashed on the masses, the European Medicines Agency is allowing companies to skip the testing process entirely.

And yet, amazingly, people are lining up to take the vaccine, absent any safety testing whatsoever. When the National Institutes of Health in the U.S. announced a swine flu vaccine trial beginning in early August, it was inundated with phone calls and emails from people desperate to play the role of human guinea pigs. The power of fear to herd sheeple into vaccine injections is simply amazing…

Back in Europe, of course, everybody gets to be a guinea pig since no testing will be done on the vaccine at all. Even worse, the European vaccines will be using adjuvants — chemicals used to multiply the potency of the active ingredients in vaccines.

Notably, there is absolutely no safety data on the use of adjuvants in infants and expectant mothers — the two groups being most aggressively targeted by the swine flu vaccine pushers. The leads us to the disturbing conclusion that the swine flu vaccine could be a modern medical disaster. It’s untested and un-tried. Its ingredients are potentially quite dangerous, and the adjuvants being used in the European vaccines are suspected of causing neurological disorders.

Paralyzed By Vaccines
I probably don’t need to remind you that in 1976, a failed swine flu vaccine caused irreparable damage to the nervous systems of hundreds of people, paralyzing many. Medical doctors gave the problem a name, of course, to make it sound like they knew what they were talking about: Guillain-Barre syndrome. (Notably, they never called it “Toxic Vaccine Syndrome” because that would be too informative.)

But the fact remains that doctors never knew how the vaccines caused these severe problems, and if the same event played out today, all the doctors and vaccine pushers would undoubtedly deny any link between the vaccines and paralysis altogether. (That’s what’s happening today with the debate over vaccines and autism: Complete denial.)

In fact, there are a whole lot of things you’ll never be told by health authorities about the upcoming swine flu vaccine. For your amusement, I’ve written down the ten most obvious ones and published them below.

Ten things you’re not supposed to know about the swine flu vaccine
(At least, not by anyone in authority…)

#1The vaccine production was “rushed” and the vaccine has never been tested on humans. Do you like to play guinea pig for Big Pharma? If so, line up for your swine flu vaccine this fall…

#2 – Swine flu vaccines contain dangerous adjuvants that cause an inflammatory response in the body. This is why they are suspected of causing autism and other neurological disorders.

#3 – The swine flu vaccine could actually increase your risk of death from swine flu by altering (or suppressing) your immune system response. There is zero evidence that even seasonal flu shots offer any meaningful protection for people who take the jabs. Vaccines are the snake oil of modern medicine.

#4 Doctors still don’t know why the 1976 swine flu vaccines paralyzed so many people. And that means they really have no clue whether the upcoming vaccine might cause the same devastating side effects. (And they’re not testing it, either…)

#5Even if the swine flu vaccine kills you, the drug companies aren’t responsible. The U.S. government has granted drug companies complete immunity against vaccine product liability. Thanks to that blanket immunity, drug companies have no incentive to make safe vaccines, because they only get paid based on quantity, not safety (zero liability).

#6No swine flu vaccine works as well as vitamin D to protect you from influenza. That’s an inconvenient scientific fact that the U.S. government, the FDA and Big Pharma hope the people never realize.

#7 – Even if the swine flu vaccine actually works, mathematically speaking if everyone else around you gets the vaccine, you don’t need one! (Because it can’t spread through the population you hang with.) So even if you believe in the vaccine, all you need to do is encourage your friends to go get vaccinated…

#8Drug companies are making billions of dollars from the production of swine flu vaccines. That money comes out of your pocket — even if you don’t get the jab — because it’s all paid by the taxpayers.

#9 When people start dying in larger numbers from the swine flu, rest assured that many of them will be the very people who got the swine flu vaccine. Doctors will explain this away with their typical Big Pharma logic: “The number saved is far greater than the number lost.” Of course, the number “saved” is entirely fictional… imaginary… and exists only in their own warped heads.

#10 – The swine flu vaccine centers that will crop up all over the world in the coming months aren’t completely useless: They will provide an easy way to identify large groups of really stupid people. (Too bad there isn’t some sort of blue dye that we could tag ’em with for future reference…)

The lottery, they say, is a tax on people who can’t do math. Similarly, flu vaccines are a tax on people who don’t understand health.

Chevron Uncovers $3M Bribery Scheme Involving Judge in Ecuador Lawsuit

In Uncategorized on September 3, 2009 at 3:19 pm

Chevron Corp. provided authorities in Ecuador and the U.S. with video recordings that reveal a $3 million bribery scheme implicating the judge presiding over the environmental lawsuit currently pending against the company and individuals who identify themselves as representatives of the Ecuadorian government and its ruling party. In the videos, the judge confirms that he will rule against Chevron and that appeals by the energy company will be denied — even though the trial is ongoing and evidence is still being received. A purported party official also states that lawyers from the executive branch have been sent to assist the judge in writing the decision.

The Cold, Hard, and Depressing Facts about Cash-4-Clunkers

In Uncategorized on August 28, 2009 at 5:42 pm

The only way to judge something on the merits of factual evidence is to wait for the commotion to come to a stop and to look at the cold, hard facts as the dust settles. This blog post is about the Cash-4-Clunkers program, how the program played out, and the affects of the program. Keep in mind that THESE ARE JUST FACTS and it’s imperative that you FORM YOUR OWN OPINION and think for yourself. It’s not being able to think for ourselves that gets us in trouble.

What is Cash-4-Clunkers?

According to, “The Cash for Clunkers 2009 program was signed into law by President Obama on June 24, 2009 with a goal of encouraging consumers to trade in older, less fuel-efficient vehicles for new vehicles that get better fuel economy by providing a credit of either $3,500 or $4,500. There are also credits available for some very large vans, SUVs and pickup trucks irrespective of their fuel economy.

The program divides cars, trucks, SUVs and vans into four categories, in most cases based on weight and length of their wheelbase. Vehicles that are traded in are to be destroyed, not resold, and the base manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the new replacement vehicle cannot exceed $45,000. Miles-per-gallon (mpg) figures set out below refer to the EPA’s published “combined” mpg.”

What Exactly Is A Clunker?

This website states that in order to be a clunker, the car must meet the following criteria:

1) Operational.
2) Rated at no more than 18 miles per gallon (m.p.g.) combined city/highway. (Check your car’s rating here.) (Editor’s update: The Environmental Protection Agency updated mileage ratings on July 24, affecting the eligibility of some models. These changes will only affect trade-ins made after that date.)
3) A 1984 model or newer.
4) Worth less than $4,500 – or in some cases, $3,500. (The program just bumps up the trade-in value of your car to one of those amounts; you don’t get extra).
5) Owned by you for at least a year (so you can’t go out and buy one at the junkyard and then turn around and trade it in).

The requirements for your new car are thus:

1) New. (It can be foreign or domestic).
2) Rated at 22 m.p.g. (combined) or better. If it’s a car and gets at least 10 m.p.g. better than your old vehicle, you get a $4,500 voucher; otherwise, it’s $3,500. For trucks, it’s more complicated. (Click here for details.)
3) Be worth no more than $45,000.
4) Bought between July 1 and Nov. 1 (but Congress has the option of extending the $1 billion program if it comes up with more money).

So we’re only really talking an increase in 4-5 MPG’s, since the highest you can have at first is 18 and the lowest you can get at the end is 22.

Let’s talk about the new cars now. Some quick facts from

Top 10 New Vehicles Purchased

  1.  Toyota Corolla

  7. Chevrolet Blazer 4WD
  8. Chevrolet C1500 Pickup 2WD
  9. Ford F150 Pickup 4WD
  10. Ford Windstar FWD Van

These boil down to about 80% of the new cars being bought are from FOREIGN automakers but ALL of the top 10 trade-ins were from AMERICAN automakers. We basically traded our American trucks and cars for foreign cars.

Why would we do this?

“The U.S. government owns 61 percent of the new General Motors and 8 percent of Chrysler” (

Allow me to emphasize that:

“The U.S. government owns 61 percent of the new General Motors and 8 percent of Chrysler” (!

We also spent almost 3 BILLION DOLLARS to do this and what did we accomplish? In essence we gave business and revived the the Asian auto industry. Secondly, but not a single bit less important than that, is that we turned people who owned functioning cars to people who are now buying new cars. Our nation is in turmoil because of the credit crisis, and we’re giving out more credit!

Think about this: Most people who had clunkers probably didn’t have the best credit out there. If you were a successful person you might have a $25,000-$60,000 car. If you have a clunker, you probably work by the hour, and your credit could probably be better. Plus, the people with money and middle-management jobs were the ones hit the hardest when they lost their jobs and houses. I wonder how many executives who have an idea of how interest works participated in the cash for clunkers program?

What I’m trying to say is that we basically spent money we didn’t have in order to put our fellow Americans into a debt payment plan with all of the money and profits going to overseas automakers, all for just a difference of 5 miles per gallon!

And by spending money we didn’t have, we in essence lowered the value of our already depreciating dollar, thus making it so even if you didn’t cash in a clunker, you lost  part of whatever money you DID have because of the inflation rates!

Now why would the Government do this? One answer I came up with was because it’s a very clever way of artificially inflating the economic indicators, which gives the appearance that the economy bottomed out and is getting better. For example, Have you ever opened a Christmas present on Christmas Eve? If you have, you probably know what it’s like to have less than expected the next day, and all because you couldn’t delay your gratification. That’s what the auto industry did. They convinced everyone who was planning on getting a new car in the next year or two to get one with the C4C program. My question is…

Who’s going to be buying cars in the next 2-3 years, and with what money?

Yes, it spurred sales in the auto industry. But it also made it so consumer spending and retail purchases went down because people didn’t have much left over after they got a new car. It’s a depression and people think it’s OK to go out and buy a brand new car from another country. How is that helping America?

Another issue is the taxation of these transactions. You would assume that if you get a $25,000 car with the $4,500 rebate that you would pay taxes on the $20,500 right? That may not be true

As it turns out, each state determines whether to tax the clunker money. Pennsylvania doesn’t, for example, but Maryland applies its 6 percent excise tax to the incentive.

Besides the insane amount of paperwork and the Governments inability to reimburse the dealerships on time, this program only helped us get caught up in hype again without analyzing the facts.
